S1 Lego Challenge

Over the last few weeks some of Mr Wilson and Mr Tough’s S1 CDT classes ( 1H1 and 1K1 ) have been designing and building their own Lego kits.
From participating in the S1 Lego Challenge pupils have experienced, through collaborative work, many aspects of design and manufacture including sketching, modelling, computer aided design, packaging and graphics.
Working in groups pupils had the task of designing a Lego vehicle, an assembly instruction booklet and packaging for the kit.
The final outcomes looked fantastic with some weird and wonderful vehicle designs, excellent environment models and some very skilfully produced computer models and packaging boxes.

Storytime in English

Mrs Muir's S2 class have been creating their own children's books as a final project linked to the novel "Whispers in the Graveyard."
The pupils' work was incredibly creative and would light up the eyes of any toddler that was fortunatate to read them.
