Matthew Scott gets international debut

Well done to Matthew Scott, a former pupil of Currie High who is now playing for the Scottish Rugby team.
Matthew made replacement appearances in two Scotland under-19 internationals in 2009. His debut was in the 55-13 success against Italy at Lasswade in March 2009, followed by the Dourdan match against France a month later.  Before that he played for Edinburgh’s district interstate under-17 and under-18 teams. He is now studying law at Edinburgh University.
In 2010 Matthew was selected in the under-20 6 Nations squad and played in all but one match, featuring as a replacement in each of his four under-20 capped matches.

He made his international debut off the bench against ireland in the March 2012 RBS 6 Nations, having come into the team as a late replacement for the injured Nick De Luca, and took the field after the subsequent injury to Lee Jones.

Well done Matthew, Currie is proud of you!
